About Steve

My professional background was Director Workforce Diversity for NY Metro-North Railroad and the NYC Department of Education's 135,000 employees and 1,200 public schools where I trained and coordinated a staff of 300 Local Equal Employment Opportunity Counselors. These activities gave me an insight into human interactions between people of different cultural, ethnic and gender backgrounds, which is helpful in the real estate industry.

I have served my local community in sevaral volunteer activities; member Police/Community Taskforce, Chair-Board of Directors, Mt. Vernon Community Action Group, AC-BAW Arts Center, Mt Vernon Boys' club tutor, college coach ,track team coach and public speaking coach. Iam best known as a karate instructor at Ricahardson's Karate school where I instructed youngsters from 5-18 year-old.

I became a homeowner, real estate investor, agent and now proud to be an associate broker with Weichert Realtors Heritage Properties, Mt. Vernon, NY.

I have honors from local mayor, US congress member, National Boy' Club of America and Oxford Univerisity invited me to participate with 34 other worldwide educators to participate in the 2001 Oxford Roundtable to discuss international educational equity issues.

One of my buyers remarked at her closing that every one was polite at her closing because she was represented by "The black belt realtor."
